Job Description
Vanessa Research is a US-based biomedical company that discovers, develops and commercializes innovative products in areas of unmet medical needs. Our global team is looking for interns to join our growing Budapest Office.
We are seeking an Intern preferably with Business or Economics studies, who will participate in variety of projects at Vanessa Research. The candidate should be eager to broaden their entrepreneurial and technical skillset, and to work in an environment that thrives on creativity, efficient execution, and product innovation.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support managing and executing product development projects with the supervision of senior project managers
- Work on the optimization or automation of internal processes: HR, Finance, Planning
- Involvement in the coordination of smaller product teams
- Identify new suppliers, build new business relationships and communicate existing needs, maintain relationships
- Handle shipping and receiving tasks
- Keep track of progress and quality of tasks on the assigned projects, keep contact with colleagues of other Vanessa Research entities and coordinate tasks between remote teams
- Any and all other duties as required
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master studies (or Degree) in Business / Economics, Engineering or related field, preferably in the last years of studies
- Some relevant work experience or experience in student projects
- Advanced communication skills in English to understand business objectives and collaborate with U.S. corporate headquarters team
- Out of the box thinking and strong entrepreneurial mindset
- Self-motivated and driven
It’s a plus (but not required) if you have:
- Experience in IT projects, procurement, product design or manufacturing
- Interest in healthcare innovation
